First, call VSP member services at 1-800-877-7195 to check that your plan includes out-of-network benefits. Make sure you have your policy number handy when you call!
If your plan does allow for out-of-network coverage, great! Once you receive your receipt from us, you’ll need to send it to VSP to submit a claim.
Please allow VSP up to 10 business days (plus mailing time to and from VSP) for them to process your out-of-network reimbursement.
|Submitted||Your claim form and uploaded receipts have been successfully submitted.|
|Pending||VSP has received your claim form. We are awaiting your receipt(s) in the mail.|
|Processsing||VSP has received your claim form and receipt(s). We are in the process of reviewing the information.|
|Paid||VSP has reimbursed you the allotted amount based on your benefits.|
